September 24 - An online casino player has been left stunned with her quarter of a million pound win after hitting the jackpot at her favourite bingo site.

The player, identified as Jo D, was taking a breather from bingo and tried out the five pence Deal or No Deal slot game at JackpotJoy.com.

She was enjoying the break and the exciting slot action offered by the game show themed slot game, when she suddenly found herself advancing across the bonus rounds at an incredible pace.

Players are presented with 26 different boxes in Deal or No Deal, very much like in the TV show of the same name, each one containing a prize amount that is based on the player's original stake. Boxes need to be eliminated before the jackpot has a chance of being won.

"I had a feeling I was going to win it," recalled Jo D. "I got through to the bonus round five or six times but I wouldn't stop, I knew I was going to get it."

"By the end I only had two boxes left," she continued, "?50 and the jackpot. The banker offered me ?83 and there was just no way I was going to do a deal. I just sat there thinking 'oh my goodness' and then I burst into tears. I went and said to my husband 'I've just won a quarter of a million pounds!"

Jo D said that her husband is still convinced that she has made a mistake.
