Party Gaming Continues with its Slots Movie Themes - 07-30-08

July 30 - Following the growing popularity of slot machines that are based on classic movies, the software company, Party Gaming announced this week that it has signed a four year exclusive contract with StudioCanal to bring the characters of two fantastic movies, Rambo and The Terminator, to life as slot games.

Party Gaming will create superior slot games based on the excitement of these Hollywood movies.

The Chief Executive Officer for Party Gaming, Jim Ryan said about the new deal: "Creating unique and exclusive themed content is a key element of our strategy, because the power of popular international brands and their ability to add substantial value to our game portfolio is clear."

"We plan to license more brands over the coming months to improve further the quality and range of our games and keep ahead of our competitors," said Ryan. "Terminator and Rambo will be an exciting addition to our expanding suite of games, providing PartyCasino.com's customers with more great fun and entertainment."

The Terminator and Rambo are just two of the latest in Party Gaming's growing suite of slot games based on blockbuster movies. The company recently rolled out games based on Saturday Night Fever and Mission Impossible, while two new titles based on The Godfather and Top Gun are in the pipelines.

Party Gaming is not the first software company to create games based on Hollywood movies. Playtech recently signed a deal with Paramount to develop a line of casino games based on the movies The Untouchables and Gladiator.

The appeal of the familiar characters, themes and music of these films, intertwined with classic slot entertainment and action is what makes these slot games so popular, and software companies are picking up on this trend fast!
