Microgaming
has excited the slots world with the dramatic announcement that it intends
creating a new series of games based on the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The films, directed by Peter Jackson, won a staggering 17 Academy Awards
(after being nominated for 30), including the title for Best Movie.
As such, Microgaming has managed to take one of the world's most recognized
brands, with the intention of releasing games that are second to none.
The Lord of the Rings are best known for the awesome graphics and interesting
characters, and Microgaming will be bringing these alive across the reels of the
new games.
The release date has not been finalized yet.
The multiyear deal, signed with Warner Bros Digital Distribution, will ensure
that players are provided with the highest level of entertainment, based on the
three films Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Lord of the
Rings: The Two Towers and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
