 April 28 - Two million Betfair players will be able to benefit from a lucrative new deal signed between the gambling group and software giant, Cryptologic.
According to an announcement by Cryptologic, the company will provide at least ten of its best slot games to Betfair, five of which will be made available by the middle of the year.
Cryptologic said that the rest of the games will be launched by the end of 2009.
Betfair is considered one of the world's largest online gambling communities, providing players with a diverse gaming platform including casino gaming, sports betting, poker, exchange games and arcade games.
The new partnership is a multi year deal, and could spell out the beginning of an expanded venture between the two gaming giants.
The President and Chief Executive Officer of Cryptologic, Brian Hadfield said: "Cryptologic's new relationship with Betfair is excellent proof of the potential of our 'build once, license often' business strategy."
"Cryptologic's branded slot games are both popular and profitable, and today that leads yet another top global gaming brand to join Cryptologic's growing list of customers," said Hadfield.
Betfair's casino offering currently consists of 40 quality games that can be accessed instantly, thanks to the no download platform available at the site.
