is the newly revised version the older 9 line Captain Treasure slot and
now incorporates an exciting free spin bonus. As with most other Playtech slot
games, you are able to bet between one and ten coins per payline, while you
navigate your way through the open seas in search of treasure. Besides the
playing card symbols (9, 10, J, Q, K & A), be on the look out for line
combinations with higher paying symbols such as the rugged sea captain, parrot
and ship. What you are really looking for however, are the treasure chests,
which not only act as wilds to help you acquire those winning combinations, but
which also act as scatter symbols. Landing three or more treasure chests
anywhere on the screen will activate ten free spins, and the appearance of three
or more chests during free game play will not only add to your win total, but
will also extend the spins by an additional ten. A mystery scatter is awarded
during free games, and remains for the duration of any re-spins you may get. The
payout on the mystery scatter occurs when two or more scatters appear during a
spin, and depends on the symbol selected. Wins range from 100X to 5000X your
bet. For instance, if the Sea Captain is assigned as the mystery scatter, and
five of them appear randomly across your screen during free play, you will win
$10 000 on a minimum bet of $2. Not many slots offer these large returns for
such low bets!
Five chests appearing on your screen will pay you 200X your total bet before
your spins have even started, but if you are lucky enough to secure them in
sequence on a pay line, you will win 5000 coins. If these payouts are not good
enough for you, you can choose to gamble your winnings. During the gamble
feature, you are able to double either half or all of your winnings by selecting
one of four cards that you think will be equal to or higher than the face-up
